I used to dread launching brand new offers.
Not because I didn’t believe in them. But because of what came after. Leads would say all the right things:
“This is exactly what I need!”
“I want to work with you!”
“I’m so in!”
Then I'd here it: "I'll get back to you." 🫠
So I built this 3-part framework to helps coaches sell — without pandering.
1) Don't pick any niche. Pick a niche in demand.
Think about this. Why waste time "educating the market" when there are markets that already exist?
Your niche already exists.
They're already buying solutions.
Spending money is a normal action for them.
Stop trying to educate a niche. Instead, target 1 niche that’s already searching for and paying for a solution. Your job from here is to take an existing solution and craft it according to your expertise.
Let's dive deeper into this idea in step 2.
2) Don't create an offer. Craft one people already buy.
Pretend you're a career coach who helps people find the job they were designed for.
People by this offer frequently.
To get the job, your client needs to hit 3 checkpoints:
CP 1: visibility from recruiters
CP 2: interviews with hiring managers
CP 3: late stage interviews as the top candidate
These checkpoints build on each other.
1st, you get noticed by recruiters.
2nd, recruiters intro you to hiring managers.
3rd, you move to late stage interviews as a key candidate.
Your client will land one of those jobs, which brings us full circle to:
Getting clients the job they were designed for.
Let's bring it home in part 3:
3) A price and structure that scale.
Want to make peanuts? Me neither (I'll eat em though). Want a boat load of 1:1's? Me neither (I like free time).
Many career coaches are still charging hourly rates.
$100
$250
$300
These don't scale. The more clients you add the more painful it feels.
Start your offer at $3K-$5K. Give people a paid-in-full price incentive. Or a higher monthly rate if it's multiple payments.
Then, stop believing the lie that you'll only sell if you do 1:1's. That's total nonsense (I used to believe it too).
1:1's are an upgrade your clients can buy after they purchase.
Start selling your group offer first. And build your curriculum around your checkpoints (see section 2 above).
This gives clients the right roadmap to follow on day 1. And it allows your weekly group sessions to reinforce the curriculum while answering key questions.
When you get this right, your monthly sales increase.
I've worked with a number of career and business coaches who reach the "Sweet 45."
A moment in time with 30-45 days of their first offer launch where they make anywhere from $5K to $30K.
Attend my live offer workshop if you want to do it too (you'll miss critical components about my protocol if you don't attend): coacheswhoclose.com
When your offer is high-value, it's low-friction. This means more revenue and much less delivery drag. And far more free time.
That’s when sales start to flow like a waterfall, the ghosting stops and you start hearing:
"Just paid.”
To more sales,
